It’s a late night here in the O. household. Everyone is abed except for me… Though I did take two long naps today O.O, but that last one left me a little shaken with a damn nightmare of the grim reaper coming toward me… for me. Even after my hubs woke me, I was still freaking out as if I could still see him. Anyway, I digress. I’m up studying, or trying to at least, my brain is lacking 100% participation, hopefully, it’ll get some kind of retention for tomorrow’s tests. I can’t believe that we’re at the end of week 3 of this quarter already!
For studying, I have my little tea station setup 🙂
Electric tea pots are so convenient! Best thing ever! Though, sadly, it doesn’t refill itself.
And one must have the proper study tools:
I picked up a few of these bars today from Natural Grocers. They’re the Endangered Species Chocolate brand, fairtrade, non-gmo, gluten-free, vegan (<3 vegan food, even though I’m not vegan), certified sustainable palm oil as an ingredient, and they donate 10% of their net profits to non-profit partners that protect and preserve wildlife – which I thought was pretty cool. This one is “natural Blueberry Vanilla Creme Filled Dark Chocolate”.
It has a slightly bitter taste since it’s 72% cocoa, but only slightly, however the blueberry flavor, although there, is very light and over-powered by the dark chocolate. AND I was so disappointed that the “creme” was not a creme in the sense that I thought it would be, instead it was hard and like the texture of a sugar cube. Still tasted good though.
Did you know that eating 1 oz of dark chocolate a day, 70% or higher cocoa content (some say 65%+), is actually good for your heart health? 🙂
Anyway, back to studying…
