Asana Beauty

I have a triad? trinity? of Asana Beauty products for review today. If you’ll remember, I reviewed their Skin Lightening Anti-Aging Cream back in November. Nothing to update there, no additional results since then. Also, I haven’t been using it since I’ve been using these products – though I suppose you could, but I didn’t want it to be overkill.  I do have one more of their products I’m currently in the process of testing, so will update with that in about a week and a half.

I used these products continuously for 2 weeks, so these are preliminary results.

Structure FX Neck Cream, description as provided from Amazon: “Asana spent years perfecting this formulation to achieve the best results possible for moisturizing, sagging, tightening of skin. […] It will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the neck and face and give you a smoother, younger looking neck and décolleté. RANGE OF USES: Reduces age spots, Anti-Wrinkle, Anti-Aging, Firming, Toning, Tightening, Hydrating, Moisturizing, Day Cream, Night Cream, Makeup Base, Décolleté, Dark Spots. […] has the same ingredients as $85 top neck creams on the market and is manufactured in an FDA registered facility in California. Our formulator reverse engineered the best creams at a fraction of the cost. […] This product and its ingredients have never been tested on animals. If you are not totally satisfied, Asana will return your money.”

This one kind has a masculine scent, like men’s aftershave or body wash. The directions say to apply in an upward motion using the back of your hand until fully absorbed, which kind of confused me, and I did try it that way, but it is very awkward! It may be that more product gets distributed to where you want it than if you were to apply using your fingertips and palm … ? I really don’t know. I get the upward motion though, it’s so you’re working against gravity. This cream does give a noticeable moisturized appearance to the skin once applied, and some of my vertical lines have started to fade. Hoping with continued use it’ll tone and tighten too!

Sub-Cell CST Retinol IP6 Moisturizer, description as provided from Amazon: “Experience the best combination of Retinol and Stem Cells Peptides in this maximum strength cream. Asana has combined these top ingredients to deliver the maximum impact and lift to your facial and eye skin. No other formula can bring this level of collagen boosting and skin firming to your look […] perfect blend of Peptides and 2.5% Retinol to work in synergy to reverse environmental effects of sun exposure, pollution, dehydration that cause dark circles, discoloration, sagging, puffing and loss of tone for both men and women. This is not a substitute for facial bleaching cream, acne treatment, hair removal or spots. […] lend of amino acids, retinol and stem cells […] Also contains, aloe, green tea extracts but no hyaluronic acid. […] Hydrates and nourishes the skin with zero oily texture found in so many other products.”

This one smells similar to the Skin Lightening Cream.  The texture is thick, but feels almost like a slightly compacted whip, and is light weight-wise. It’s silky once absorbed, which is nice and has done a great job at keeping my face moisturized. Although it is light-weight, the thickness is more of a night-time moisturizer and I’d lean more towards using it for that purpose. It has not improved dark circles under my eyes – which seem to be my persistent challenge.

Lash Enhance Growth Serum, description as provided from Amazon: “Asana is offering twice as much with 7ml tube. That is like getting 2 tubes for one compared to other sellers selling 3.5 ml. 96% of women experience thicker lashes with long lasting results. Promote long term eyelash and brow health in weeks. Stimulate growth from the roots of the eyelash. […] Asana Beauty has the answer to short, thining lashes and brows. […] Asana wants you to be 100 percent satisfied with this product so they are offering a 6 month money back guarantee. […] they have extended the guarantee by 3 months. Must use continuously for continued results.”

This is only the 2nd lash growth enhancement product I’ve tried. It is very similar to the other one, but I haven’t compared ingredients. This is a clear serum that you apply as if you would an eyeliner to your top lid.  It kind of smells like glycerin, but then again it’s for your eyes before you go to bed, so smell really doesn’t come into play. Don’t rub your eyes or get it too close to your eye, it’ll sting.

I may have missed a couple of nights in applying this, but I have notice maybe very very small growth on the middle section of my upper lashes, and there has been noticeable growth on the bottom lashes – kind of wish it were the other way around! But it is very early in testing this product, so I don’t know if it will significantly improve the length and texture of my lashes.  I have not tried it on my brows, as I don’t have any issues there! The product description says, it has to be continuously used, so I’m guessing as you lose lashes and new ones grow in, if you don’t keep using this the new lashes won’t grow as long.  A while back, I remember my sister mentioning that she was trying Latisse and said that she had to continuously use it as well, so it’s not limited to just this product.
