Biossance – The Embodied Project

biossanceTJP_924520151107_164100A week ago, I saw one of those sponsored ads on Facebook with regards to a free sample of the above product, Biossance The Revitalizer. I thought, hey, why not, it’s a free sample, as long as it’s not a trial or scam, I’m in for trying it. I followed the link, did the quick survey – it was not one of those “get freebies” type of surveys that seem to go on forever and forever and forever. It was a professional, clean-cut survey about your lifestyle (sort of like what you do to keep stressors at bay) directly on their site. The sample came in within a few days, packaged nicely as you can see above. (the top photo I picked up from the web, but the other photos are mine) The sample comes in a little 0.05 fl.oz. frosted glass bottle with a dropper, really cute and sophisticated at the same time.

So what is Biossance – The Embodied Project? From the little card that was included in the package and also from the little box:
“The Embodied Project is about helping women embody the most radiant version of themselves through nurturing what’s within. [It’s…] a 30-day journey on how you can transform your soul, self and surroundings, starting with your skin! …. THE REVITALIZER, made of plant-derived 100% Neossance Squalene instantly hydrates your skin feeling nourished and noticeably revitalized.
20151107_165551100% Neossance Squalene is designed with your own biological fingerprint in mind. Ideal for all skin types, these drops replenish your skin by using a moisturizer found naturally in your body. Dermatologist tested, paraben-free, non-comedogenic, hyperallergenic.”

20151107_165432The liquid is crystal clear and looks like water, but feels like a light-weight oil on the skin and there’s really no fragrance to it (which is always a plus). I put a couple of drops on the back of my hand and lightly spread it out, but didn’t rub it into my skin fully in the photo to the right. I can already see that a little of this will go a long way.  I’m really excited about trying this product on my face and neck for the next 30 days, and to see if the results will match up with the claims. If it does, then it might be worth the price point, which is currently 1.7 fl.oz for $58.
